Big John Buscema really just knocks it out of the park here. His Sif just looks so darn good and Thor is bringing the hammer and energy against the tentacled demon. John typically did not like others inking his work with the exception of his little brother, Tom Palmer and Frank Giacoia. I am extremely pleased to have added this to the collection and my only regret is not discovering John’s work earlier.

Buscema and Giacoia transport us through this window cover into this mythical world where Thor's adventures come to life. A great fantasy piece that stands the test of time.

Such a marvelous Thor cover by John Buscema. Some people say that Conan was Big John's best work, some say it was the Avengers, but I disagee. To me, his best work was on Thor and this cover is a great example of why. For drama, excitement, emotion and thrills, Thor was where John Buscema really had his finest moments. Fantastic pick-up, congrats!

A great cover! Wonderful action, and the figure of Sif is superb here (although you feel she could probably take care of herself). Giacoia's inks are fantastic on Big John.
