It's on it's way to becoming my favorite one shot in 2024.  You really get good value out of Perkins as his artwork is hard to surpass for these dark characters.

I also grabbed a page from this! Perkins' art is fantastic in general, but I especially love his attention to facial expressions in this book.

As Brian mentions up above, one of my personal favourite aspects of Mike's art (out of several) is how well he conveys emotion, especially in facial closeups and extreme closeups. This page is a great example of that. For me, the final panel alone is wonderous and worth the price of admission. The way he designed and illustrated the living hill is also really spectacular.
