DescriptionThis issue was pivotal for Rom - after briefly becoming a herald of Galactus and leading him to the Dark Nebula, Starshine sends a group of Spaceknights to various planets infiltrated by the Dire Wraiths… but she loves Rom and comes to earth with him, to her great misfortunate.I’ve been re-reading the Rom series this year (late 2024) and the pre-#50 issues have such an emotional resonance for me, particularly those with the other Spaceknights. It proves how much Marvel developed ROM into something greater than just a Parker Brothers action figure. Some much relationship and emotional complexity. It speaks about the human condition as much it is about ROM.
