DescriptionDeath Dealer #1 (1995 Verotik)This is the 1st appearance of Death Dealer in a comic book series. Written by Glenn Danzig, this first issue is illustrated by Simon Bisley and tells the origin of Death Dealer and how he got his helmet. Filled with bloody violence and action, Bisley pays tribute to Frazetta’s iconic character with epic battle scenes and many homages of Frazetta’s DD paintings worked into the story. I’ve been wanting to add a nice Bisley Death Dealer example for a while so happy to have this one. Social/Sharing |

How I see the battle
And the bleeding human race
How I miss the taste of it
Its sweet and warm embrace

Both panels are great and full of violent action. I kinda prefer the way Death Dealer is aggressively attacking with his battle axe in that bottom panel though.

At the height of Biz's powers! All the great brutality that was promised by the reputation of Frazetta's Death Dealer painting!
