Description

This is a prelim to the cover published as three separate pieces for Topolino magazine #3350, #3551, and #3552 in 2023. It features both Disney ducks and mice families (and friends) together, around the Christmas tree, and amidst gift packages.

This was almost final since it is on Schoeller paper and there's a proper cleanup, but you can see, comparing this to the final cover art, they decided to apply some changes. In this piece, you'll find Donald's head used in the final cover art, Freccero probably decided to recycle this piece to draw and ink the new head instead of using a new sheet of paper.

Looking at the prelims (links below), you'll see how some other things changed from start to finish (Scrooge's expression and clothes, background, some characters, etc.).
