Description

An idea which had been simmering in my head for a while was to have Veronica cosplay the Mia Wallace part in Pulp Fiction. In the movie she was played by actress Uma Thurman in what was to become her breakout role. I asked Jeff to replace her with Veronica on the now iconic movie poster, but exchange the gun with something more appropriate. The reading material was also substituted for a comic book featuring my favorite teenage witch (issue #30, October 1999).

I think Jeff handled the challenge very well and I am mighty pleased with the outcome.

It could also work as Enid from Daniel Clowes' Ghost World with how Jeff Schultz's inking is clean and has the retro 50's vibe here.

You're right, of course. But I also think it looks a little bit like something by Charles Burns. The inking again, I suppose.
