DescriptionEven though Paul Abrams has never worked on the Legion in a published capacity, I find his style and especially the way he draws faces to be very reminiscent of Cockrum, Grell, and Giffen's work on the Legion in the seventies and early eighties. What's more, the first unpublished piece of art I ever bought was a Paul Abrams Phantom Girl (also in this gallery). With all that considered, when this beautiful Supergirl piece came up for bidding on eBay, I couldn't turn it down! I love having another piece by him, and I love that it features Kara in her V-neck/hot pants costume, which is one of my favourites of hers. Abrams gave her such a kind expression here, and you can tell he really took his time to define every last strand of her hair.Social/Sharing |

She's a beauty! Such a gentle look to her as evidenced by the soft pencil art. It brings people back to the era of late 70s and early 80's before the big hair and aerobics headband era.
