Art was created for use on the lid to Aurora model kits (421-98/421-100) released in 1966 and features art by Neal Adams (1941-2022), showing The Incredible Hulk standing amid twisted wreckage and two smoking craters w/his fists clenched, an angry snarl on his face. Adam began his X-Men run in 1969, making this an early example of his Marvel art. Artboard has three printer centering labels along left/right margins, and artboard has pieces of aged masking tape at center left/right w/another piece at top left. Top corners have single pin hole. Some scattered dust soiling to margins w/aging along bottom, but art remains clean and Exc. w/vivid color. Could be matted and framed for an incredible display and would easily become the centerpiece of any Aurora collection. Aurora Marvel art rarely comes to market, this and the following lot being the nicest and most important examples to ever be offered at auction.
