Mary Marvel : Michael McDaniel / James Taylor

At the time I purchsed this piece, I didn't know anything about the penciler, Michael McDaniel. I liked this pinup enough, however, to snatch it up when I saw it on eBay. It's an interestingly mature take on one of my favorite heroines. Since adding this piece to my collection, I've commissioned several other pieces from Michael, whom I believe is a tremendous unheralded talent. The icing on this gorgeous slice of cheesecake was applied by another unheralded talent, inker James Taylor.
