Description

2024 was the 50th anniversary for Wolverine so Mike decided to create an homage to the cover of Incredible Hulk v1 #181 by Herb Trimpe to celebrate that landmark as a print. I inked it over a blueline of his pencils on 11x17 2-ply smooth Kubert Art board. Mike incidentally was commissioned to ink it and he had his color artist David Ocampo color it. I hope to release it in 2025 in color by Tom Chu. Mike introduced me with ArtistPro Extra Fine Tip correction pens which are MUCH thinner than the Pentel versions. But I had to become savvy with them since Mike was regularly using super thin erasers over his pencils for affects that I had to match. I completed the inks on August 29, 2024.
