DescriptionAnother excellent Dave Stevens recreation by Chris Kohler. 11" x 17" on Bristol Board. Years ago, I owned the original art to this cover as drawn by Dave. I let it go in order to be able to purchase an Alex Raymond original. It is nice to have Dave's image recreated so well.I still own the preliminary to Dave's cover which can be found elsewhere in my CAF Gallery. Social/Sharing |

It looks like Stevens took delight in drawing the lady in peril with the tentacles being so grabby when finding something so sweet to hang onto. Chris Kohler's art brings back not only Stevens, but also the themes from Wally Wood's career.
