Description
Here is page 1 of the 2-page story “Loaded” by Mary Fleener. The opening dialogue sets the tone (“Benji had a face full of angel dust and a loaded .38”) and Fleener takes it from there. Her cubist style perfectly marries with the crazy film noir narrative of the story, further emphasized by her radical layout. From the comic “Mumbles” issue 6.
