Description

Here is page 2 of the 2-page story “Loaded” by Mary Fleener. The opening dialogue sets the tone (“Benji had a face full of angel dust and a loaded .38”) and in page 2 Benji and Fleener takes their shot. Her cubist style perfectly marries with the crazy film noir narrative of the story, further emphasized by her radical layout. From the comic “Mumbles” issue 6.

I don't even know if it's meant for reading or the words are there to enhance the design sense! It needs to be seen afar to make out the bodies intertwining.
