Wow, what a fantastic finale to The Savage Earth! Newton's artistry here is just phenomenal. His masterful use of light and shadow, intricate textures, and those expressive faces all pull you right into the weight of the moment. That final panel, with its haunting reflection on humanity's self destruction, really seals the deal, both visually and thematically.

I've mentioned it already in my previous comments, but it's worth mentioning one last time that what makes this even more impressive is that Don Newton accomplished this entire story at such a high level BEFORE even becoming a pro comic artist. The sheer dedication, storytelling prowess, and artistic skill on display throughout thisentire story shows why he was destined for greatness. What an incredible achievement!
