The classic sci-fi adventure! Don Newton’s bold inks and intense shadows really amp up the drama. It feels like you can hear the crackling flames and desperate radio chatter. Love the retro-futuristic tech too. The penultimate chapter!
Very operatic and shows how much Flash Gordon and Alex Raymond was an inspiration to Newton in these panels. He gives it away with the lighting bolt.
