DescriptionFrom the 8 Deaths of Spider-man arc, Peter has been appointed as the world's protector from the children of Cyttorak by Doctor Doom, as Doctor Strange is currently unavailable at the moment. The catch being is that for each time he defeates them, Peter must die and use one of the 8 give lives he has. At this time, Peter had defeated three of Cyttorak's childrens and died three times, and after seeing the future deaths of all those close to him, decided to have a break and gather his thoughts. One person Peter went to for help in gathering himself was Felicia, the black cat. After spending time a night together, Peter awakens in Felicia's bed, no doubt feeling much better than before.Inked by Scott Hanna on Andrea Broccardo's bluelined pencils, I was pretty eager to pick up this page just because it included Peter and Felicia after spending a night together. I don't really have any pages of Spidery and Black Cat together, so this was definitely a great and spicey piece to start with. Probably my favorite subtle part of Broccardo's penciling was the placement of Felicia's cat mug. I wonder what that could have implied Social/Sharing |
