My first John Byrne piece, and one from his run on ASM vol 2. I’ve been looking for art by Byrne form this run for some time, so finding a nice one featuring Peter was a must for me! Though if you have an ASM page from the Mackie and Byrne run you might sell, hit me up, I’m looking for me 👀

The page features Peter Parker gently comforting Jill Stacy, Gwen Stacy's cousin, after she panics when a city-wide blackout leaves her stranded in a darkened lobby. As Peter helps calm her, Jill reveals that a mysterious childhood trauma in Hong Kong is the source of her fear of the dark.
