Description
Companion piece to my other Spider-Man Family page. The other page features SPIDEY in action, while you can see that this one mostly features Peter dealing with Flash Thompson. BUT OH THAT LARGE Spider-Man image just eats up the page. One other thing I love about this page is the way Val pulls the page together with all the falling leaves throughout the panels and edges. I REALLY LOVE that!!!

As you can discover, several pieces by Val Semeiks are in my collection. His work drew my attention on the DEMON series, which was so much fun from a writing as well as art perspective. Really fun art from this guy!

You might have seen I have three inkers listed. The page only features his signature so I used the Grand Comics Database (https://www.comics.org) to find out the inker. Three inkers are listed so I did too.

A great throwback to the silver age Spidey with that large image and the theme of Peter Parker holding back.  Maybe Flash Thompson does have some respect for Peter deep inside.

The number 42 is the answer to "the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything"
