Description
A hauntingly beautiful piece of art by the great Bruce Timm of the timeless Sharon Tate in her bathtub scene in the horror cult classic movie "The Fearless Vampire Killers" made by Roman Polanski in 1967. On this movie set, Roman initially did not want to cast Sharon but ultimately conceded if she agreed to don a red wig. A romance would bloom from there and ultimately Sharon Tate would be part of a dark and notorious chapter in Hollywood history. Bruce Timm did a number of illustrations and covers for the popular horror magazine, inlcuding this piece used in the article remembering Sharon Tate, whom the issue was also dedicated to. Finished by Bruce Timm in mixed media on 8.5"x11" illustration paper. Signed by Bruce Timm in the lower left. Full bleed from the inks can be seen from the back. In excellent condition.

Some of the best bargains in Bruce Timm art are from the 'zines he'd contribute to as they are pubished, are of high quality, and show Timm's genuine affection for the horror genre of the 60's and 70's.
