Ventura or bust!

Okay Miki, as the hobby's biggest Legion fan, this is where I need you to be completely honest with me. If I had asked you "Who is the Governor of Ventura?", there is no way that even you would have answered "Gruertis Nyebif is the Governor of Ventura.", right? RIGHT?

Correct. Except for this page, I couldn't find any reference to him in any other Legion books.  This has all the trademarks of Giffen humor. I believe Giffen drew it and Barbara asked "Who's this?" and he said "Of course it's Gruertis Nyebif, the Governor of Ventura!"

Phew! Thanks for confirming. Yeah, I think what you suggest about Giffen is pretty likely!
