I've said it on almost every piece, but Jim's ability to create these living action scenes on a small little window of paper is amazing. Here again we get that full on attack from Gambit with the ace of spades shooting right at the viewer. The Gambit piece and the Astonishing X-Men Cyclops share that sense of power and energy with the explosively inked background. Jim also captures that certain grittiness of Gambit, which is sometimes lost. I also love the light outlining to separate the black on black elements. Also, look at all the folds in the jacket!
