I ordered Jean to add with Scott as soon as I could. Jim delivers! I look at Jean, and I feel like I'm looking at a frame from a movie. You immediately vibe the narrative. He captures that classic feel/pose of Jean in action and layers it on top of another intricate background. Like with the Gambit piece, there's so much detail in (Remy's jacket) in Jean's hair. I love how it cuts through her face framing her right eye. The details in the background make you want to dig and dig and dig into this piece. Is it out on a battlefield amongst the debris, or is it just off-screen from the Colossus piece? Where's that monitor from? It's again, so powerful. I love the way Jim draws female characters because they're as fierce as any of the male characters. I also love how fierce Jim makes Jean look in her 90's outfit. This was in the first extra set with Emma and Magneto. I just love this piece.
