The Master of Magnetism himself. I told Jim that when I saw him post this piece initially on Instagram that Magneto appears to be pulling the background with his powers, as if he's manipulating the magnetic field of the world around him. Magneto is pulling the fabric of space around him. Again, another front on shot with so much energy and narrative. It's also not the regal Magneto poses we see often repeated. It feels visceral and dangerous. I love the use of the heavy inks to create the dark shadow under the cape which merges with the border. Truly villainous. I love this piece a lot as well.
