Description

A cheeky (literally!) commission of Booster Gold and his sidekick/foil, Skeets. I've been wanting to add art that's humorous and slightly cheesecake-y/beefcake-y, and I think this one really accomplished all that. Booster is one of my all-time favorite DC characters... but he can also be a jerk, especially to poor Skeets. So, this was a comedic take on how Skeets might get a bit of payback. (Of course, Skeets can be a jerk too, so maybe I'll need to get a follow-up showing Booster's payback to Skeets!)

Art by the fantastic brother duo, Brendon and Brian Fraim. I didn't have any art from them, but I'd seen (and admired) a lot of their work here on CAF, so they were on my list. I provided them the basic idea and dialogue, and they REALLY took it to the next level, especially with all the attention to detail; you'll even see J'onn J'onzz's favorite type of snack from the Justice League International era on the shelf :) I will definitely get more artwork from the Fraimes (and, in fact, already have a couple pieces going).
