Description

I really like all the artwork of Brendon and Brian Fraim I've seen. I had two goofy Booster Gold ideas and thought their style might work well. I'd planned to get just one of my ideas made into a commission, but the Fraims were so great to work with and I like their art so much, I not only commissioned both my ideas, but I also commissioned a third idea with She-Hulk and Spider-man :)

Blue Beetle and Booster Gold are two of my favorite DC characters. They're natural clowns, and anytime they can be put in a buffoonish situation, it's comedy gold! Plus, I wanted a little more cheeky art, and there's just not enough beefcake-ery in the world :D So Blue and Gold seemed like perfect candidates.

In this piece, Booster and Beetle think they're going to smoothly crash a special luncheon for the women Leaguers, but some teleporter hijinks make their crash anything but smooth! (I realized after I purchased the commission that I must have been subliminally influenced by a similar teleporter mishap from Justice League America #67 way back in 1992.)
