Description
When we last left Spider-Boy, he was tumbling through the Web Of Life & Destiny. In Spider-Boy's place there appeared the Spider-Man from Earth-51778 (Takuya Yamashiro), who cried out "What have you done?! I was in mid-battle against an unspeakable evil! If I am here ..."

On this two-page sequence, we learn the end of that cliffhanger sentence is that SPIDER-BOY is now inside that Spider-Man's giant robot Leopardon!

The top panel on page 14 always makes me laugh. Poor Spider-Boy has no idea what he is doing, haha!

Spider-Man informs the Spider-Ladies that he was in mid battle with a "Monster BEM" (Monster Bug-Eyed Monster?) that only he and Leopardon can defeat.

Silk finds a way to communicate with Spider-Boy through the Great Web, telling him that he must step up and fill in for Earth 51778's Spider-Man, fighting his foes and winning his battles.

When Spider-Boy looks out through Leopardon's windows and sees his new foe, he yells out that it is a Kaiju (Japanese term for giant monster), and that it is a Kaiju version of one of HIS (Spider-Boy's) bad guys! It's a Kaiju version of ....

ANOTHER CLIFFHANGER !!!

Stay tuned!

NOTE: Nate's process involves doing the pencils on one board, and then copying the pencils to another board for inking. I was lucky enough to get both boards for every page of this 17-page story.

Awesome, it's like a "Godzilla on the rampage through Tokyo" splash and as we go from splash to panel page, it really gives off that feeling I mentioned of being cinematic! This feels like a scene right out of an animated film. Very cool.

Looks great when Spider-Boy is out of his depth and we can relate to him more in these moments that play up the humor.

I love me a good cliffhanger!  I'll alleviate the suspense a bit and post the next two pages tonight 😊

Yikes! What a fabulous two-page sequence! Love the splash page with the giant robot Leopardon marching along while terrorizing the citizens! Then when we cut inside on page 14, we are treated to the puzzled Spider-Boy trying to figure out how to control the giant robot he's sitting in. Gorgeous art by Nate Stockman! Love his portrayal of Spider-Boy as he tries to puzzle out the controls of the robot. The three Spider-Boy faces in that top panel say it all! I really appreciate seeing the pencils as well. Thanks for sharing!
