Description

Swords and Explosions !!!

It's all out BATTLE with this great action-packed two-page sequence!

I really like how Nate portrays the psychic link between Madame Web and Spider-Boy in panels 2 & 3 of the first page.

I also like the empathy that Spider-Boy exhibits in that last panel, when even as he raises a fist in triumph, he worries that he may have murdered a guy with a wife and kids.

Uh oh ... did he? Is there a Queen Bowler and little Prince & Princess Bowlers running around?

CLIFFHANGER!!

Just kidding...

On the next page, the Spider-Man of that Earth assures Spider-Boy that King Bowler was an artificial creature manufactured by "Professor Monster" (from his nightmares) and that destroying BEMS like King Bowler is a noble task.

So .. there ya have it.

Speaking of the next page, I will post that one plus the very last page of the issue tomorrow night.

With each subsequent page, this looks more and more like the pages from a Shogun Warriors relaunch! Stockman really deserves praise for doing such a great job capturing that feel.
