Description
One goal I set for myself in collecting this year was to really hone in on my Miyazaki commissions collection and not 'waste' any money on purchases outside of that. Whoops!

To be fair, I first started pursuing this piece when I saw it on Tula's Instagram last October alongside two other alternative posters. I'm a big fan of the movie, saw it 7 times in theatre, so I reached out to her kind rep Andrew over at Kinetic Collectibles who told me Tula would send her Portrait pieces over to him in the near future.

When her February drop happened, one of the other Portrait pieces she'd posted on Instagram was included in the preview, but no sign of the one that had really caught my eye and encapsulated the movie best in my view. I reached out to Andrew again, who told me that she unfortunately didn't appear to own it anymore, but checked with her one more time. Lucky me, because she still had it after all!

I also bought her new art book, Eurydice, this poster is one of the pieces included, and came with a nice bookplate.

Tula should have snuck in the number 28 somewhere on this piece.

Haha, it doesn't feature on any of the posters as far as I'm aware. Missed chance to sneakily put one of the Portrait pieces on page 28 of the Eurydice art book though.
