Description
My favorite Comic Book from 1998.

"Flexibility" is a one-shot that tied into The Kingdom, a 1998 sequel to the 1996 classic Kingdom Come. The heart-warming one-shot stars Offspring, the son of Plastic Man.

Joining him on his final adventure are his fellow legacy heroes:
Avia (Daughter of Mister Miracle and Big Barda)
Zatara (Son of Zatanna and John Constantine and grandson of the original Zatara)
Stars and Stripes (Edgy 90's version of the Golden Age heroes Star-Spangled Kid and Stripesy)

It doesn't hurt that I have a soft spot for Brainiac's skull ship, which is smashing out of a pyramid in Egypt at the conclusion of their final adventure.

1998's finest for you! I never read this but that Brainiac skull ship is too cool, and this seems like a fun mix of characters with nice Quitely inked art. congrats on the page dude!

I like that the others in the last panel appreciate Offspring's joke.  If this were a 1980s sitcom, that would be the perfect end point for the issue.

When we were young, the future kids all right
Woah-oh
The old neighborhood got Stars and Stripes
Woah-oh
And every kid Flexibility
Woah-oh
Zatara makes it big, Avia's beat

Now the Kingdom Come's cracked and torn
Woah-oh
The kids are grown up, but their lives are worn
Woah-oh
How can one Brainy freak swallow so many lives?

Frank is shown
Nothing's free
Joking more, used funny
Still it's art, art to see
Fragile lines
Quitely (go!)

I believe those earlier Quitely pages will increase in demand so that was a nice buy ;)

I don't know who that guy speaking is, but I've gotten plenty a head on this world.

The only thing between you and the vacuum of space is six feet of solid style.
