Nice six-panel layout. Reed needs to hold onto hope that his brother is still out there clinging on to something!
They are POW now. I think they'd rather surrender to the US than to the USSR. I wonder why they included this part of history?
But will they surrender?
Death before dishonor, but there were documented cases where they were sent to places far away from the theater of war and saw themselves as dead to Japan to never return, even after the war.
I really like the lighting technique in the first 3 panels. Very nice!
