Awesome piece by john, congrats ML.
Like a distant ship on the horizon.
That's pretty cool !
My favorite John Amor artwork and in my favorite art collection. One of the best pieces on CAF!
Beautifully done. Would love to see an entire book in this style.
I didn't even notice Galactus at first. Great composition!
Looking around it's plain to see
So many people buying for need
John’s art they want and who's to say?
The old Surfer gets there someday.
Draw in a straight line.
Norrin in a straight line.
Hard times, surfing in a straight line.
Always wanting to find your way
True to yourself you've gone to space
Flying cross rocks, it's not easy herald
Never give up, but if you have got it show.
Draw in a straight line.
Norrin in a straight line.
Hard times, surfing in a straight line.
One ray as a line is in your flight.
You know Radd inks can come mood.
So reach Amor screens and as crazy as it seems
Believing is all you can do, oh!
The giant rock is the real protagonist here! Another great atmospheric style piece by JA, very cool!
Wow. This is stellar. Congrats Mikail.
It's amazing that artists are still finding new ways of portraying a loneliness and majesty that Kirby started years ago. This piece definitely qualifies as a new way. I love it!
Not sure if that rock IS actually the focal point. At least for me. I mean, it's a great rock (as far as rocks go). But I have to say, when I clicked on this image, the very first thing my eyes went to is that simple yet powerful silhouette of surfer gliding in lonely silence. That single white line and that sole, solitary, white figure only accentuates the vast darkness and emptiness of space. But that's what it's supposed to do. The smallest element in the frame has the most profound impact on the mood of the piece.
Fair point! Major element, then.
I love these poignant pieces, especially of the Surfer (and Hulk of course). This one is a beauty, great idea and execution.
I'm usually not into Galactus and Silver Surfer. But, this is so damn impressive. WOW.
You've got an eye for locating some amazing talent so its always refreshing checking your posts. And congrats btw on this gem. Such a unique perspective.
Another one?!?!
Just fantastic...
I LOVE the giant meteor diagonally separating the large, looming, DARK Galactus from the the tiny, LIT Silver Surfer. Brilliant!
Wowwwwww this is brilliant! I love the lines! Congrats buddy!
Surfer brakes for nobody.
Absolutely gorgeous!
MID lmao
Bravo!
Truly outstanding. Wow. Dramatic, emotive...a true work of art. Huge congrats on this one.
Amazing piece, very powerful and evocative. I didn't even notice Galactus at first, which somehow makes it even better. An easy vote in the Best of 2025.
