Description

In what is one of my favorite all time series, the Counterfifth Detective arc earned its Eisner in many ways. The art was top notch (as always), but the character of Milo Garret, and the homage to hard boiled P.I. Literature was (chef�s kiss). I�ve long sought a page that captured the character and dialogue and love this one. For fans of this type of story I highly recommend James Crumley�s novels. One of his protagonists is named Milo and I�d love to know if that influenced Azzarello. Bottom half of the page is perfect.
