Description

This strip ran from 1924 to 1968 and focused on Boots. Originally a topper to another Sunday, it began to gain popularity and moved on to be its own feature. Originally a college girl strip, the popularity of theme made for a very long education for the title character but eventually she moved on. The focus of the strip was very much on fashion and beauty. I really like the silhouettes that Martin mastered as well as the beauty of that era.

lovely art. I really like the transition of shots from panel to panel and the 3rd panel being entirely silhouette.
