Description

I absolutely loved the first several issues of Blue Devil back in the early 80s - it was an incredibly fun book with great art by (then) newcomer Paris Cullins. He left the book to work on Blue Beetle, and Blue Devil was never the same. Don't think it lasted much longer, either. That character's never caught a break since then! Once I got into original art, I always thought it would be neat to get a sketch of something by Cullins of his intro character, so when this excellent full-figure illo showed up on ebay in 2001, I had to have it. Pencil and ink on 11x17 Bristol.
