They should never have installed munitions chips in them.
Love the overall detail and layout! That top panel almost creates a multiple panel effect behind the bars. Great to see the colorful published page too. Can't decide on "When Toys Attack" or "Toys Gone Wild Vol 1.", but this is a fun page!
My biggest nightmare when I walk into my sons room that's full of stuffies! Lots of detail on this page.
Black Bison grail!
Another great Kayanan Firestorm page. And IMHO even better than the first. I discovered Rafael on this book. Can't believe you have two Kayanan examples while I have yet to find a representation for my Philippine Artist gallery. Anyway, love this page with the whole idea of bringing stuffed animals to life. Can't remember the last time I saw a comic hero attacked by bunnies and teddy bears (the angry unicorn is my favorite).
Such a fun page. I have very fond memories of this series and hope to try reading it from the start at some point. I already have some issues on my new, handy dandy tablet!
Ha! Well done stupid is totally my vibe. Love it!
Labubu!
Loooooove this page. So glad it's in your collection.
Thanks for sharing.
Sockamagee!
What a super cool page!! Firestorm is about to get a VERY bad case of fur burn. (That's like rug burn only it's from the fur of stuffed animals).
Awesome piece. Following you is a memory trip through the early 80s.
Kayanan was certainly doing some cool work, like Conan, but this looks great, congrats!
Stand out page!
Ha ha, such a FUN piece, which is worth the price of admission alone, but the artistic and storytelling execution are also top notch! So much packed into this page from top left corner to the final splash. Kayanan doesn't get enough pub, for sure. Congrats!
A cuddly nightmare
Rafael Kayanan made this series and this is how I always envision Firestorm. Nice!
This is wild! Beautifully drawn details throughout. Congrats!
