DescriptionTwo of my favorites in one! Artist Bernie Wrightson and character Solomon Kane. I can tell you I was pretty excited to bring this one in!A striking illustration, here Wrightson showcases his masterful cross-hatching technique, using delicate shifts in pressure to blend ink and graphite into a seamless, brooding whole. One of the only 2 examples I'm aware of where Wrightson and Kane are intersected. I believe this is from "Footfalls Within" where Kane rescues a slave, though it might also be from "Moon of Skulls" where he rescues Marylin Taferal, from Queen Nakari, “the vampire queen of Negari”. Anyone knows which one? Please LMK! Leave a comment, leave a like! Social/Sharing |
