Description

A design sketch for Trinity's (Carrie-Anne Moss) costume hand-drawn by Emmy Award®-winning costume illustrator Lois DeArmond during pre-production on the Wachowskis' The Matrix. In the film, Trinity switched from the fantastical leather costumes she wore inside the Matrix to more realistically combat-appropriate civilian wear when she returned to the Nebuchadnezzar.

This sketch depicting Trinity in a tank-top and skirt is rendered, labeled "Trinity," dated "97," and signed by DeArmond in graphite on drawing paper. It is stapled in all four corners and exhibits yellowing and warping from handling and age. Dimensions: (each) 14" x 17" (35.75 cm x 43.25 cm)
