Description

Large artwork, pen and ink on thick board featuring Sid Vicious, Billie Jean King, Ted Kennedy and French President Giscard d'Estaing.

Based on the characters who appear in this piece I'm guessing that it was published in late 1979 or early 1980. Possibly the piece accompanied an article outlining the major events of the year 1979 - Sid Vicious' death, Giscard's diamond scandal, Kennedy pulling out of the Democrat election, partly due to long term effects of the Chappaquiddick scandal and BJK breaking some tennis record?
