I know it's been some time
But there's Don Heck on my line
You see
I haven't been the same
Since that cold No Pepper day
We said we needed space
But all she found was a Happy place
And the Tony thing
I learned
Is that I need you suspensfully
So here's Morgan
And Count you please tales me
Where do broken Starks go?
Can they find their page home
Back to her open arms
Of her love that's waiting there?
And if somebody loves you
Potts they always love you?
I look in her thighs
And Mike knows that you still care, Tony
Ooh Miki
Nice storytelling from Heck, with great expressions and poses.
I've never been much of a Heck fan, but I really like this page, especially the 3 panels with the love triangle!
I have always been a big fan of Don Heck's early work especially the art that was drawn on twice up boards.
I should add that even though he wasn't a favourite, I wasn't too bothered by his 50's and 60's work. I certainly didn't "hate" it, I just felt it was kind of "boring" and "unexciting". But it's definitely still solid storytelling. I suppose I can more specifically say that the Heck art I really dislike is the stuff from the 70's and even moreso the 80's, as his line seemed to become progressively looser and unnattractive.
Nefarious scheming going on around here.
I'm not losing any sleep at night
cause Earl had to die.
This is really awesome Miki. It may not be an action page but to get interpersonal dynamics between these 3 characters in a silver age Marvel issue/title/series in ToS is pretty damn cool, and the Don Heck art is pretty nice to boot. congrats!
Beautiful! Don Heck is one of my all time favorite artists!
wooooooooooooooow
Love it! Heck goodness! His Silver Age stories were fun. Heartache, superhero angst and vulnerability, family drama plus Count Nefaria on a single page! Nice cloak Count Nefaria, but does he wear it to the Monaco casinos?
These early Iron Man pages are so awesome - love this one a lot. Great shots of the playboy, Tony Stark! Congrats!
