April O'Neil (Cat Mutant) & Shredder, "The Cat Woman from Channel Six" Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) animation cel

Here's a great "raw" cel from the second season Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Fred Wolf Films) episode "The Cat Woman from Channel Six." Featuring a single-layer cel of Shredder releasing the mutated and recently mind-control collared April O'Neil from a cage (not included here) to hunt down Splinter! It's a bit humorous to see the animators were being fairly economical and only painting as much of the cel as was necessary, leaving a gap on her tail and boot where the bars of the cage would appear.

Unlike many of the painted acetate cel layers that were re-packaged with background layers and sold as part of the "Animation Art" promotion, this cel clearly shows the production info numbers at the top of the layer. I was fortunate to purchase this cel directly from artist and former Mirage Studios archivist Bill Fitts last year!
