Although I know the most famous works of Leiji Matsumoto by title like Space Battleship Yamato, Captain Harlock and Galaxy Express 999 among others, I have never read them. I recall the anime growing up but didn't watch it either so my affinity for his work comes from images I have seen over the years and understanding his importance and influence in the world of manga and anime. Happy to add this second page to my collection. It is time to read me some Matsumoto manga!

Those long eyelashes were so alluring in anime and in manga! That made young boys feel kind of uncomfortable. They were there for the adventure and suddenly found themselves enjoying a romantic drama!

I've barely read or watched any Manga and Anime, but I do remember Captain Harlock. Either way, this page is quite beautiful, regardless of my familiarity, or lack thereof.

Matsumoto was known for his elegant and seemingly endless women but to add a page with one of his signature heroines is quite the add.
