In 1965, before their hugely-successful Smother's Brother's Comedy Hour, the duo starred in a short-lived sitcom called The Smother's Brother's Show (aka My Brother the Angel). Dick played a rising young executive and Tom his brother who was lost at sea. Tom shows up as an apprentice angel assigned to do good deeds to earn his wings and become a full-fledged angel.
