Such great effects! The Simonson blur and wash shading were like a cinematographer desiging the look of the story. They would show up in the b&w magazine to make you feel like you were right there immersed in the pouring rain.
Wow, Simonson really jazzed up Carmine's pencils!
Infantino and Simonson together made magic, especially when it comes to the rain!
A really interesting mix of artistic styles. The faces in the fifth panel are excellent, but the line and wash techniques on display are really impressive - particularly for the rain effects. Nice page!
