Gorgeous is an understatement.
beutiful soft linework.
goddamn that is some fine rendering right there! awesome piece.
Could be a piece you find at The Met. Beautiful work by Manco!
This is incredible. Amazing work!
So it was YOU!!! I had been eyeing this ever since Albert updated it to his site. Especially since I don't yet have a Kayanan example in my Philippine Artists gallery. I kept going back to look at it, almost on a monthly basis. But each time hesitating to put it in my cart. One time too many apparently. Excellent piece. Always wondered what it might look like in person. Congrats bud.
Lovely detail.
What a "Hawkgirl" would probably look like if she actually existed. Phenomenal!
Lovely pencil work, with a great range of shading techniques to catch the light on the folds and the wings. Nice illustration!
His style you see
Can get the Kayanan
You are the art line
That lights my art within
And I'm sure that you're
No angel, loves to fight
Hot take by hand and
With feathers she will rise
On the wings of love
Up and above the clouds
The only way to buy
Is Moy with links of love
All the inks of love
Only the true goddess
Of Warrior flying high
Flying high up on the wings of love
Wow! Fantastic illustration!
What a masterpiece. Subtle anatomy incredibly well rendered.
Subtitle should be: feathers and folds.
Rafaelis amazing.
Beautiful 😍
Whoa, that is so far beyond, Kayanan has just jumped the line, that's stunning, big congrats!
I liked at this piece long and hard. The feathers are amazing. The penciling skills exhibited here are to die for. The view from the back is unique as well. Stunning.
Yes - sensational. There's something about this that just feels like a depiction of "Justice" (as a concept) to me... even without blindfold or scales - the wings, the back turned, the shield, the sword, not on guard, not on attack, just... vigilance; a strong protector. I wonder if Rafael started off drawing Hawkgirl, or if he applied the label after it was finished. Whatever - it really doesn't matter in the slightest, nor distract from the fact that this is an exemplary, gorgeous piece. Fantastic! Congrats, Rick!
