This is where the Kirby influence really gets put on Giffens' work!  Dynamism and bombast by breaking down everything to fundamental shapes and shadow.

You do not need to fight your friend to find your dark side. All you need to do is to crash your car in the swamp, find a hollowed out tree and climb into it. Acid helps.

I remember I was reading this series back in the 90's, and when this issue came out, the art just blew me away. I wish Giffen had drawn more issues.

I feel like whenever I see Orion, I think of Peacemaker. I am sure there is a connection there, but too lazy to dig. Either way, nice action page! Congrats

Great Kirby-esque action. I love the poses in the lower two tiers. Garvey adss some interesting textures, with bold musculature lines and an almosr stoney look to Orion.
