DescriptionThis may easily be one of my favorite stories in the past few years, with the bonus of being illustrated by Stefano Intini!"Zio Paperone e la lampada bisestile" is written by Marco Nucci and tells of an inappropriate wish from Scrooge that causes the nonexistence of December 25th and Christmas. A key figure here is Dottor Piuma, a character created by Nucci that is kind of similar to Dylan Dog's Hamlin. The story was fully pencilled by Intini and then digitally inked, so the only originals are the pencil pages... here you have the sheer, utter beauty of a pencil page by Intini (he's also a terrific letterer, as you can see). The first encounter between these two characters... just love everything here, the storytelling is superb! Huge thanks to Stefano! Paper size: 24 x 33 cm Social/Sharing |
