Description
Got this commission at Rose City Comic Con last year but just getting around to posting, keeping the Norse theme of my last couple posts going.

Something I always liked about Amora since Secret Wars as a kid. Her look, slyness, the great costume…yup, the Enchantress enchants. As does Dustin’s rendition here. Love the face, pose, and the sheen effect on her torso and arm bands. Subtle copics accentuate and gotta dig the outlining of her hair on the right and magicks on the left.

Thanks, Dustin!

I thought love was only true in fairy tales
Meant for Enchantress but Norse for me.
Love was out Thor / Loki
That's the way in tree
Miss Enchantment haunted all my dreams.

Then I saw her face, now I've got a Weaver
Not a trace of doubt in the style.
I'm in love, I'm a believer!
It's Dustin Weaver in the line.

I thought love was more or less a Portland thing,
Seems Amora gave this sketch a shot.
What's the use in tryin'?
All you's get insane.
When I needed art line I got wait.

Then I saw her face, now I'm got a Weaver
Not a trace of doubt in the style.
I'm in love, I'm a believer!
A Dustin Weaver then I cried.

The Enchantress has always been a very captivating character design, right from the start in the Kirby era. There's just something about the costume design, it's very enchanting, hence her name!

YES - Dustin really knocked this one out of the park.  Amora looks absolutely fantastic, but I really love the copic leaves, clothing, and (especially!) the hair.  He may not have known who she was when you requested a commission of her, but he obviously went home and did his research... lol :)  SUPER cool pick up, K!  Another golden commission!  Congrats!

Great art, lovely character drawing and yes, one of Joach Kirbys best designed female comic character's costumes and looks ever since the gloriuos "Journey Into Mystery" #103 in 1964" ! I wished that she would enchant me since I was a comic reading kid and still do :)

Wonderfully restrained use of flesh tone implies godlike, celestial, or similarly otherworldly characteristics. Going to keep my eye on Mr. Weaver.
