Picked up this art from the 2025 Baltimore Comicon art book charity auction.
The piece is entirely rendered in colored pencil by Charles Vess.

It's an illustration of Rose, her two talking dogs (who only she can understand) and the red dragon from the prequel "Rose" from Jeff Smith's Bone series.

This is cool as Bone related artwork of young Gran'ma Ben's adventure would show us how she became the fiery character we saw later on.  Vess' fantasy art is especially treasured by fans of the genre.
