DescriptionIf Jack Kirby floored the gas pedal building the Marvel Universe, John Buscema proved it could stay on the road at full speed. This page from Fantastic Four #109 (John’s second full issue) feels less like a reset than a perfect handoff—especially with Joe Sinnott still riding shotgun.Clean action, crystal-clear staging, and cosmic chaos you can follow. Kirby detonated ideas; Buscema directed them. And for me, this one hits home—right out of my spinner-rack era, when the future showed up every month for 15 cents. From Wurman’s candy store to the original art board… some loops are worth closing. Social/Sharing |

This is a jaw dropper. Six panel FF perfection by Buscema & Sinnott. And right at the root of your nostalgic memories. Amazing addition, congrats!

Sweet time period! Coming after the legendary Kirby run, Buscema had to bring his best to live up to The World's Greatest Comic Magazine for FF! The art was tighter and Sinnott was there to polish it all for the refined Marvel commercial style of the 70's.

Really nice page. Sinnott's inking over Buscema is always great. Did Buscema use the Kirby Kracke for many issues after taking over the book?
