Triad by Mark Stegbauer

As it turned out, Mark had a few spare Legion-y pieces lying around, so in addition to the ones I claimed from his 30 Days of the 30th Century event, I was able to pick up two more! This lovely Triad is actually from last year's 30 Days challenge, as nobody ever claimed her. Isn't that sad? I'm glad to be able to give her a good home in my collection!

Mark has a real talent for picking poses that feel dynamic while still having that pinup-y flare that shows off the costume well. It's very subtle, but I love the pale grey shading he added to all the white parts of her uniform, which adds depth even if your eye might miss it on a first pass. He remembered to include her flight ring, too, which always does my heart good. And I think it's neat that he broke up his usual space background into three separate panels, as a fun nod to Triad's abilities!
